You know how some comic pages have only 3 or so colors? I tried to recreate that look with this single panel.
It's just a rather large cat on a windowsil next to a cactus named Norb. I did the lineart in my sketchbook and scanned it in to color it. Coloring didn't take very long, as you can already tell. As a whole, the experiment didn't really turn out the way I wanted it, but I'll keep working on it seeing as this isn't utter failure. This little single panel strip portrays that feeling of carefree quietness almost perfectly. Plus, that fat cat is totally adorable. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
